Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and look after your personal data.

Last updated 7 October 2026. This policy explains how Paramount Asia Corp. Ltd. (PASIA) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use this website or contact us, in line with Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486). Information about job applicants is also covered by our Consent & Data Use page.

Who we are

This website is operated by Paramount Asia Corp. Ltd. (“PASIA”, “we”, “us”), a licensed employment agency in Hong Kong. Our office is at 15C, Harvard Commercial Building, 105–111 Thomson Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. We are the data user responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect

When you send us an enquiry

Our contact and consultation forms ask for your full name, your phone or WhatsApp number, your email address, your preferred language, the reason for your enquiry or the service you need, and your message. If you apply for a job through this website, we also receive the CV you attach.

You do not have to give us this information, but we cannot reply to an enquiry without a way to contact you.

When you contact us directly

If you call, email or message us on WhatsApp, we keep the details you give us so we can reply and follow up.

When you use the website

We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site. These tools collect information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the links you click, how you scroll, the type of device and browser you use, and your approximate location based on your IP address. They are described in more detail under “Cookies and analytics” below.

Like any website, our hosting provider’s servers also record technical information when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request, to keep the site secure and working.

How we use your personal data

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
  • To provide the services you engage us for, such as hiring, renewing a contract or changing employer.
  • To keep records we are required to keep as a licensed employment agency, and to meet our other legal obligations.
  • To understand how the website is used, so we can improve it.
  • To protect the website and our forms from spam and abuse.

We will not use your personal data in direct marketing unless we have first obtained your consent, as the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance requires. We do not sell your personal data.

Where your enquiry goes

An enquiry sent through this website is saved in the website’s own database, which only authorised PASIA staff can access. A copy is sent by email to our office inbox so that we can reply quickly. Our office inbox is provided by Google, so these notifications pass through and are stored by Google’s email service. Your enquiry is not sent to any other organisation through this website.

To stop automated spam, the website briefly checks how many forms have been sent from the same connection. It does this with a scrambled version of your IP address that is kept for no more than ten minutes and is never saved with your enquiry.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. This website uses them only for the analytics tools below.

WordPress

The site runs on WordPress. WordPress sets cookies only when a site administrator signs in (for example wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_… and wp-settings-…). An ordinary visitor receives none of these.

Google Analytics 4

Provided by Google. It sets _ga and _ga_… cookies, which last up to two years, to tell visits apart and to count sessions. Google may process this data outside Hong Kong. You can block it with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Microsoft Clarity

Provided by Microsoft. It records how pages are used, including mouse movement, clicks and scrolling, and shows us heatmaps and replays of visits so we can find parts of the site that are hard to use. We set Clarity to mask what you type into form fields, so the content of your enquiry is not recorded. Clarity sets cookies such as _clck (up to one year) and _clsk (one day), and Microsoft may set other cookies such as MUID. Microsoft may process this data outside Hong Kong. You can block these cookies in your browser.

Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to see how the site appears in Google Search results. It does not place cookies on this website and does not tell us who you are; Google gives us summary figures only.

Fonts

The fonts on this website are stored on our own server. Loading a page does not send your information to a font provider.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. The website still works without them.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only where it is needed for the purposes above:

  • with the providers who run our website, hosting, email and analytics, under their own data protection terms;
  • when you engage our services, with the parties a placement requires, such as our partner agency in the helper’s home country, the Hong Kong Immigration Department, consulates, insurers and medical clinics;
  • where the law requires us to, or to protect our legal rights.

Some of these parties are outside Hong Kong, so your personal data may be processed in other places.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to reply and follow up, and normally for no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you. If you become our client, we keep your records for as long as we need them to provide the service and for as long as the law requires a licensed employment agency to keep them. After that, we delete them or make them anonymous.

How we protect it

The website is served over an encrypted connection, enquiries are stored behind a password-protected administration area, and only staff who need personal data for their work can see it. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

Your rights

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to ask whether we hold personal data about you, to ask for a copy of it, and to ask us to correct it if it is wrong. We will reply within 40 days. We may charge a fee for a copy of your data, which will not be more than the law allows. You can also withdraw your consent to us contacting you at any time.

To make a request, contact us through our Contact page and mark your message “Personal data request”.

Children

This website is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.

Language

This policy is also shown in Traditional and Simplified Chinese. If the English version and a Chinese version differ, the English version applies.
